Casting my mind back I can remember dabbling in crafts… it started with my Gran teaching me to crochet and knit. From an early age I loved colouring in books, pencil crayons and stationery. Art was a definite at school and so the passion for arts and design developed. Card making wasn’t what it is today - using my mom’s toaster to make cards with stamps and heat embossing powder – wow how things have changed! Most of my hobbies have been self taught: fabric painting, decoupage, card making, scrapbooking, wedding invitations, mosaic, cross stitch, soap making and mixed media.

I am a down to earth person and a home body – my home is my sanctuary and it’s shared with my husband of 13 years and gorgeous golden Labrador called Milo. After working in the corporate world for many years I decided to follow my passion and do what I love and what makes me happy. This is how Simply-Celebrate-Life came into being.

So you are asking. What is it that I do….A Jill of all trades I guess!

I’m a very creative person and love being involved with events, functions big or small. Adding a personal touch to things to make the event or moment that more special.

It’s a true honour to be involved with wedding couples in being part of their special day. Through life I have learnt that life is short and that we should celebrate all milestones and achievements in life. Small intimate functions are my forte, baby showers, kitchen teas, special birthdays and anniversaries. Bigger isn’t always better, elegance can be found in simplicity and less can be more.
